Selected work / علاجك
A student allowance. A WordPress site. A business.
I built علاجك, a medical-content business, while studying physical therapy. From November 2017 to April 2020, I owned the work from search and content through analytics, user experience and monetization. I sold it in 2020.
Starting with what I had.
I was a physical-therapy student with a student allowance, an interest in search and enough experience to build a WordPress site. There was no team or external funding behind the business.
The website, its audience and its economics belonged to the same small operation. I was responsible for acquiring the audience and operating the business.
There was nobody else to hand the rest to.
I owned SEO and content, but also analytics, the user experience and monetization. Getting people to the site was one part of the work. Understanding what they found there and how the site could sustain itself mattered too.
That breadth is why this experience belongs in my growth background. It put acquisition, the website experience and monetization in the same set of decisions.
The audience it reached.

Building through to a sale.
I sold علاجك in 2020, after building and operating the business from its beginning.
Later work at AlGooru and Foodics involved larger teams and different business models. The habit that connects them is following acquisition into the rest of the business: what happens on the site, what the customer does next, and what the numbers can actually tell us.
The founder timeline and scope are recorded in my LinkedIn experience. Traffic and sale details on this page are my own historical account.
