Selected work / AlGooru

I joined through SEO. The job kept getting wider.

At AlGooru, I moved through four roles from SEO Manager to Marketing Strategy Lead. What began with search expanded into acquisition, attribution, landing pages and the connection between Marketing and Sales.

The starting point was small.

I joined AlGooru in July 2022 as a part-time SEO Manager, when the website had little more than a homepage. The company was still early in its development, and there was work to do on what people could find and what they would arrive at.

That meant working with Product on tutor listing pages, blog posts and educational resources, alongside SEO strategy and content processes for the Saudi market. Search was connected to the product experience from the beginning.

Four roles, with a broader view each time.

  1. July–November 2022

    SEO Manager

    Part-time
  2. December 2022–December 2023

    Growth Marketer

  3. December 2023–July 2024

    Senior Growth Marketer

  4. July 2024–November 2025

    Marketing Strategy Lead

Across that tenure, the scope grew beyond organic search into paid acquisition, attribution, qualification and strategy. The thread through those roles was understanding how the pieces affected one another.

The work lived between channels and teams.

Search and product pages

The SEO work covered technical issues, internal linking and content aligned with search intent. Working with Product on tutor listings and educational resources connected discoverability to pages with a useful next step.

Paid search and landing pages

The acquisition work included account structure, keyword match types and negatives, conversion tracking, offline imports and landing-page testing. Feedback from Sales helped keep the work connected to the people behind the conversions.

Attribution and qualification

I implemented attribution using Adjust and Mixpanel, alongside an executive growth dashboard and lead qualification scoring. These were ways to bring channel activity and business decisions into the same conversation.

None of those responsibilities stands on its own for long. A tracking change affects the readout; a landing-page promise affects the lead; the sales conversation changes what Marketing needs to learn.

The company grew during that period.

AlGooru announced a US$4 million pre-Series A round in 2024, combining debt and equity. It is useful context for the stage of the business during my tenure.

The funding was a company and team milestone; my contribution was the marketing and growth work described here.
